I know who I would like to ask, but I can't.

Found a puddle of screenwash in front of the passenger wheel. Mudflap in front of the wheel wet. Bottle mostly empty. Presume it's something to do with the line to or the actual headlamp washer.

Hoping I can get in to the wheel arch easily. Also hoping it's not a bumper off job. And please don't be any torx bolts/screws, I haven't got any of those . . . .

Anybody else had & cured this issue / any tips on what and where to check ?

I assume its the inline connector to the washer unit..but..could be the washer unit itself..sadly AFAIK and the way I do it is bumper off..lots of screws several torx plus pan head underneath plus clamps on either side..

really a two person job..

Enjoy

Oh shoot, you've cheered me up immensely - thanks for the explanation though, I'll have a skeg on the weekend . . .

Very annoying especially when the offending part is superfluous - I just don't see the point in headlamp washers :bashhead:

My old generation Saab 9³ takes it to the next level - it has actual headlamp wipers as did the old 900's.

Mandated as part of using HID headlights ..as well as self levelling

They really don't seem to do a lot do they. Usually come on when the windscreen wipers are just finishing. So you have to wipe AGAIN. Headlights don't seem any brighter once done . . .
