Get that DISA valve checked!

I thought I'd get the X8R disa repair kit, one less thing to go wrong I thought to myself.

When i took the disa valve out and put it on the window ledge, the pin pretty much fell out. I dread to think what the repercussions world have been if it fell into the intake manifold.

If you haven't done so already, I would advise that you check yours out. It takes 2 minutes to unbolt it and have a look.

The X8R kit is really nicely made by the way.

That is an annual check on mine, a couple of years ago i took it out to check and the flap would tur roub with no resistance. A new OEM one fixed it.

The 4 pot disa really bad for internal diaphragms being destroyed.
