New member of the forum but long time lurker , I’ve owned 2 z3’s now one being an m44 I put a single turbo on and the second now being mid small block Chevy swap

Guys saw your picture of the month entry ( weather rarely good enough for stuff like that here.)
You should do a write up in the progress thread section of the forum to document your build.
A lot of people including myself would be interested to read on what you started with and what you will end up with .
A lot of the forum members on here are in UK and as such we dont really see much of any of the chevvy v8 engines
So would be great to read up on your conversion and how it mates to whatever transmission and driveline you'll be running.

i didn't actually realize about the in progress section so i intend to make a much more in depth write up and ill link it hear after and update it as i go while just putting the more generalized stuff in the performance thread, definitely might be more of an exotic swap up there for sure

Your doing some nice work your going to get a number of questions fired at you i imagine.
Over here a conversion like that would be far more difficult to achieve on a car of the Z3 age because of our annual vehicle test ' MOT ' of which i am a vehicle tester the mot test would give you some issues to make it road legal here probably much more straight forward where you are.

Very fortunate to live in a county that doesn’t even do emissions testing, basic safety inspection but nothing regarding emissions or anything this would fail on so it doesn’t change my registration process at all
Small block chevy v8 swapped z3
I made a separate thread in performance but am going to try and update this in the ongoing weeks as i progress with the build and document the smaller portions in more depth on this post from start to finish ( project started when i acquired the engine and trans from a 1975 corvette July 8th)...
