Finished in Topaz Blue with contrasting beige leather interior.

5 Speed Manual, 99,000 miles. MOT until April 2026

Staggered 17” Style 18 alloys, Electric roof, AC, heated seats, 2 keys, Blaupunkt Bluetooth/DAB Stereo

Manufactured May 1999 and first registered Aug 1999 the car is UK spec delivered to a BMW dealer in the Netherlands. It is not an import; this was a way people avoided VAT back in the 90s.

I bought the vehicle with 92,531 miles in May 2021 and have I used it in the summer months only. It has always been garaged over winter.

Service History and Maintenance

The car has an extensive service history with a lot of work having been done recently to bring it to its present standard.

The car has very good MOT history with only very minor advisories.

https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/results?registration=T239+VVX&checkRecalls=true

Mechanically the car is very strong, but does currently suffer from an erratic idle when cold. Once warm it then runs perfectly.

Bodywork is in good condition with just a few scratches and small chips consistent with its age. There is no corrosion on the sills although there is a small dent underneath on the NS which is only noticeable up on a ramp. The interior is very clean and shows very little wear. The seat belt restraints are both undamaged and the electric seats work as they should.

The original powered roof is still very good and works perfectly with no leaks. I always keep it under a half cover. Sale will include the tonneau cover

Aircon would require a regas or service as it is not something I really use.

I am looking for £4950 or close offer. I will be sad to see it go although I now have my eye on something else. This is a very solid car with all major work completed.

The car is sold as seen and without warranty, so viewing is recommended. I am in SO32 Hampshire about 15 mins from Junction 7 of the M27. I am happy to take any videos you want or do Facetime, Whatsapp video calls if you are not local to me. Any questions please reply here or just drop me a PM

I know this car well (I am not the owner) Unfortunately it was a new MOT tester at our local garage and clearly not used to looking at 25 year old cars. It’s all really superficial stuff. If you look on the ZedShed quick and dirty posts on here you will see what condition the underneath is in. All the important stuff like beam and diff bushes, suspension etc are done.

Thanks for bringing it up, I’m looking at 2 tomorrow a 2.9 and 3.00 both in the same colour but half the mileage. Not sure if it makes any difference? Similar price Phil

I’d always buy on maintenance history rather than age or milage. Make sure you check that out. This one is enthusiast owned and pretty much the car equivalent of triggers broom. 😀

Phil That MOT is really annoying. I don’t think the young lad that tested it had ever seen a 26 year old car before with regard surface condition underneath or the coils. I wish I had challenged it because if you look at the previous tests back to 2019 . Nothing. It doesn’t leak oil. The car is never driven in the wet and is stored October to April.
The underneath can be seen on the forum and Lee at the shed would have flagged it up.
