So i've been wanting to install a big wing on top of the trunk, does anyone has one? I was also thinking about making one with servos to make it like the f2 cars.those wings are sick.
I know, i know. Most people would not agree with that, but i do really want one. So far i have not come across one of my liking, so i guess i will just fabricate one with adjustable angles of attack that responds to the throttle and the brakes.Err…why?!?
Welcome! Whereabouts are you based?
Omg that is indeed a big wing.a little too big.Z4 wing may fit, on that z3 it has a wing but really difficult to see.

you did ask for a big wingOmg that is indeed a big wing.a little too big.
Various profiles available on the 3d printing sites, your big problem will be making it moveable without immense complexity. And making it look decent at the same time. Most try and make the wing move, better and simpler to make the mount move, that kind of limits you to a pillar mount. Only downside of that is it requires more rigidity of the wing itself to prevent flex/vibration under road use.I know, i know. Most people would not agree with that, but i do really want one. Im in sf ca.
Clearly, he wants to start a mobile ironing service. Different angles to suit slopes on the customer's driveway, etc.Err…why?!?
that looks perfect,Hmmm.

There's a start. Just a bunch of servo-motors and some clever controllers and Robert is indeed your mothers brother.![]()
yeah I would not called those a wingSome options here...
But unless you tell us what your idea of 'big wing' is, we'll all be guessing.
taking a second look at it, I think I like it.you did ask for a big wing![]()
I c, but making it moveable is not that hard. making both mounts moveable, that would be hard cuz of weight. wing rigidity will be provided by connecting rods from the motors to the wing.Various profiles available on the 3d printing sites, your big problem will be making it moveable without immense complexity.
