z3 2.8 tu traction control and abs light on

i have traction control and abs light on
i have a creator 410 scan tool
it says
11 wheel speed sensor front left
42 wheel speed sensor rear right
44 wheel speed sensor rear right
i tell tool to remove and it says removed but light does not go out and they are back as soon as its plugged in again
i have replaced both of the abs/wheel speed sensors
anyone got any ideas as mot due soon and assuming it will fail ?

Might be the rings on the drive shafts have corroded so you are not getting a good signal at the sensor. Should look like this
Also make sure you bought the right sensors @pgunter can advise how easy it is to get the wrong ones

Make sure that the battery is fully charged, by a run of about ten miles, as the Slip control Module is very sensitive to voltage. I find the my ABS and traction control warning lamps will come on even after prolonged use of an automatic charger, but a quick drive always sorts things out.

I've had the same problem, replaced all 4 speed sensors but the engine light would not turn off. replaced both throttle position sensors, updated the ecu software,nothing.
the engine light went off when I replaced both intake boot and oem (800 bucks) MAF sensor. problem solved
