Hi Pond

Sorry for the delay, I'm working away from home so its a bit awkward.
Anyway Will you take £50. I've looked at courier and I reckon I can get it collected/delivered for a reasonable fee.
I've based the quotes on 1200mm X 200mm X 600mm which should be OK weight about 8kg ??

Size folded is around 1000mm x 400mm x 200mm. It only weighs around 1.5kg. It isn't heavy.
I would be happy with £75. Have you seen what people are asking on the 'Bay?
Just to confirm I don't have any packaging materials for it.

There must be something you can package it up in.
If not I don't think a courier will accept it as it's almost certain to be 'Marked or damaged'
Regards
Gordon

I can wrap it in bubble wrap and tape, but don't have a box large enough.

IIRC with great difficulty as it is awkward. They do look nice and neat when on, but I presume many don't use them much as it takes a while to get them on and off.
If you do it properly it takes under a minute to put it on, never understood why people have such a problem with them, very seldom I drove mine without fitting it, keeps the dust and crap out of the soft top.

If you were closer I'd snap your hand off at the price.

Just out of interest. Why does it fold so big? Is there a rigid frame/rib inside it? What does one do if the roof needs putting up while out on the road. Can the tonneau be stowed away tidy?

The two 'wings' fold into the middle, that is all. It fits in the boot of a Z3 easily when folded (presumably this is why it folds).

It also fits behind the seats with the roof up, but it requires jedi-master Tetris skills to fit it in 🤭

It's often worth RTFM  Extract below for the tonneau cover fit/remove method.

If vertically challenged it may be a faff, but simple enough.

On my 1998 2.8 without bling hoops; with the folding wind deflector over the rear cubby, by folding the deflector forward on its hinge the tonneau will fit into the space where the roof folds into. It is easier to crack open the roof to the position where the motor picks up and feed the tonneau from outside the car. Otherwise if room, put in the boot.

There are two Tenax clips by the rear of the doors and I just tuck the rest in place. Takes about two minutes to fit. There are two more Tenax clips by the roll hoops but they are difficult to secure so I don’t bother, they aren’t needed
I do mine the same way never had any problems
